The industrial landscape of Iraq is undergoing a profound paradigm shift. As the nation transitions from recovery to robust structural development, the modernization of utilities, telecommunications, and petrochemical processing networks has taken center stage. Traditional steel and low-grade plastics are rapidly being replaced by high-performance, precision-extruded polymer tubing. The adoption of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) microducts, multi-layer Polyamide (PA) fuel systems, and polyurethane (PU) transport lines is driven by the urgent need to rebuild the municipal water systems in Baghdad, Basra, and Erbil, as well as the nationwide deployment of advanced fiber-optic networks.
Operating within Iraq's industrial sector poses distinct challenges: high environmental temperatures exceeding 50°C during summer, power grid instability, and the demand for raw material versatility. Consequently, local manufacturers require extrusion equipment that is not only highly precise but also environmentally resilient and energy-efficient.
“To secure high-yield, uninterrupted production in Iraq, precision extrusion machinery must combine advanced thermal control loops with mechanical configurations designed to buffer local grid fluctuations. BAOD Extrusion implements this dual approach, ensuring reliable operation under high ambient temperatures.”
In plastic extrusion, the physical properties, concentricity, and outer diameter tolerance of the finished pipe are heavily dependent on the cooling phase. For factories operating in Iraq, the high temperature of incoming cooling water and high ambient humidity present significant engineering hurdles:
Global procurement teams sourcing equipment for operations in Iraq prioritize high automation, long-term stability, and the availability of direct technical support. A major barrier is the lack of specialized local engineering talent for complex control systems.
To address this, BAOD Extrusion integrates standardized, globally serviceable automation components (such as Siemens PLC modules, Omron temperature controls, and ABB variable frequency drives) alongside a robust remote telemetry module. This setup allows our engineers in Jiangsu to run live diagnostics, optimize parameters, and guide local operators through maintenance procedures via cloud-based links.
Founded in 2002, BAOD EXTRUSION (Jiangsu Baodie Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.) is dedicated to the design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-end plastic extrusion machinery. Drawing on our initial 18 years of design and manufacturing experience in Taiwan under the original parent company (KINGSWEL GROUP), we established our advanced manufacturing base in 1999 to cater to the growing global demand for high-automation production lines.
For over two decades, BAOD has targeted the high-precision sectors of polymer extrusion, developing specialized machinery for medical micro-tubes, multi-layer fuel lines, microduct conduits, and engineering profile products. Our systems are trusted across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

View SpecificationsA key consideration when operating extrusion plants in Iraq is the wide variation in polymer grade consistency and occasional voltage drops. To solve these problems, BAOD has engineered specific solutions for the extruder and die design:
Unrefined or mixed-grade raw materials can lead to fluctuations in output and wall thickness. By integrating gravimetric dosing systems at the feeding throat, the extruder dynamically adjusts the screw RPM relative to the puller speed. This maintains a consistent weight-per-meter ratio, compensating for fluctuations in bulk density and material flow characteristics.
For delicate microducts (such as those used in silicone core pipes), puller tension must be precisely controlled. The TKB and QYP series belt pullers feature dual-axis servo control synchronized directly with the PLC. This eliminates slippage and dampens vibration, preventing wall deformation during high-speed production.
Processing materials like Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) or Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPV) requires precise heat control. Specialized heater bands coupled with high-flow cooling fans keep temperature variations below ±0.5°C along the entire barrel. This prevents localized overheating, ensuring consistent melt pressure and high product yields.

We supply specialized high-capacity closed-loop chilling modules and dual-stage vacuum tanks instead of standard water bath cooling systems. This allows the cooling water temperature to be maintained between 15°C and 20°C even when outside temperatures exceed 50°C, preventing product deformation and maintaining high output rates.
Our control panels feature built-in voltage regulation modules, phase sequence protection, and emergency backup power logic for the PLCs. Additionally, we use high-inertia AC motors and heavy-duty gearboxes that can withstand sudden voltage fluctuations without damaging the tooling or stopping mid-cycle.
Yes. By customizing the screw profile (increasing the mixing section and venting zones) and using gravimetric dosing systems, our lines can process blends containing post-consumer or industrial recycled PE/PP while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances.
Every extrusion line is equipped with an encrypted VPN router for remote maintenance. This allows our engineering team in China to assist with diagnostics, troubleshoot logic parameters, and guide your local team through maintenance. For physical installations, our field technicians can travel to Iraq to manage startup, calibration, and training.
For high-precision applications like medical catheters or automotive PA lines, our systems achieve outer-diameter tolerances of ±0.02mm to ±0.05mm. This is supported by laser diameter gauges that adjust puller and screw speeds in real-time through closed-loop control.
