High-precision processing peripherals designed for uninterrupted, high-speed plastic extrusion workflows.
BAOD EXTRUSION (Jiangsu Baodie Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.), established in 2002, is committed to the independent design, precision manufacturing, and global supply of advanced plastic extrusion machinery. Leveraging over 25 years of engineering experience in designing high-quality tooling and automation structures from Taiwan, the parent organization (KINGSWEL GROUP) established the primary Shanghai production infrastructure in 1999 to anchor high-precision development frameworks in mainland China.
Today, our specialized machinery serves a diverse industrial spectrum, focusing on delivering stable, multi-layer, and high-efficiency extrusion systems. We develop optimized solutions addressing the challenges of polymer degradation, melt stability, and automation integration.

A comprehensive overview of high-speed PET monofilament production, from raw materials to spooling.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is highly hygroscopic. Extruding wet polymer chain links causes hydrolytic degradation, decreasing intrinsic viscosity (IV) and reducing the tensile strength of the output. Our system integrates a continuous crystallizing reactor and closed-loop dehumidifiers to lower resin moisture levels below 50 ppm, preserving polymer chains and monofilament integrity.
Utilizing barrier single-screw technology with dynamic L/D ratios of 30:1 or 33:1, our extruders optimize plasticization. An integrated melt pump provides pressure consistency within ±0.5 bar. Constant flow ensures minimal diameter variations across multiple strands, maintaining consistency throughout production.
After exiting the spinneret plate, the molten PET strands enter a temperature-regulated water bath. Dynamic water levels and laminar flow management reduce air bubble accumulation on the filaments. Controlled cooling kinetics avoid premature crystallization, keeping the monofilament amorphous and ready for the drawing process.
Through multi-stage stretching units consisting of hot-water baths, steam channels, or heated rollers, filaments are oriented to a high draw ratio (often 1:4 to 1:6). This aligns polymer chains along the fiber axis, providing high tensile strength and elastic recovery.
Oriented filaments have internal stresses that can cause heat shrinkage during subsequent processing. A third godet drawing frame and heat setting oven relax stress and crystallize the fiber matrix. This ensures dimensional stability, locking in the physical attributes of the PET monofilament.
Using automated spooling machinery with precision torque control, individual monofilaments are wound with constant tension. Accurate traverse systems prevent tangling or overlapping, ensuring smooth unwinding in downstream processes like weaving, braiding, or tufting.
From industrial filters to aerospace components, PET monofilament delivers high mechanical performance.
PET monofilaments are selected across industries for their high tensile strength, dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and thermal endurance. Our extrusion lines are configured to meet the specific requirements of these varied sectors:
With the growing demand for sustainable production, our custom PET extrusion lines can be integrated with vacuum-venting single-screw extruders. This configuration handles up to 100% recycled PET bottle flakes.
By bypassing pre-crystallization through high-vacuum devolatilization, we reduce energy costs while maintaining IV levels, allowing manufacturers to meet environmental standards without sacrificing tensile strength.
Exploring the next generation of automation, polymer science, and energy efficiency.
Integrating multi-axis laser diameter gauges with melt pump feedback algorithms to automatically correct diameter deviations without operator intervention.
Implementing sheath-core co-extrusion technology to produce bi-component monofilaments, combining a high-strength core with a functional outer skin.
Redesigning heating chambers and draw ovens with insulated air-recirculation systems, reducing power consumption during thermal processing stages by up to 25%.
Integrating cloud-based machine learning systems to analyze sensor telemetry (temperatures, pressure, motor vibration), predicting maintenance needs and reducing unplanned downtime.
Operating out of our 16,000 square meter factory in Jiangsu, BAOD Extrusion leverages the local industrial clusters of the Yangtze River Delta. This proximity allows for efficient component sourcing, heat treatment, and precision machining services.
By sourcing raw components locally and maintaining in-house assembly control, we shorten delivery lead times and protect our operations from international shipping disruptions, ensuring reliable machine delivery.
Our manufacturing processes prioritize machinery durability. Extruder barrels and screws are made from high-grade 38CrMoAlA steel, treated with ion nitriding to handle abrasive materials.
This focus on material quality extends service life, reduces maintenance requirements, and helps optimize total cost of ownership for high-throughput monofilament production.
